Left Field Labs is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Unity Developer to join an experiential project based on a major technology company’s consumer platform. You will work alongside a group of dedicated and supportive producers, technologists and designers to bring high quality solutions to market. Together you will provide excellent and durable software solutions that not only meet the needs of our clients but are also a joy to use. 


The Senior Unity Developer works side by side with the project Technical Director and is responsible for the successful execution and delivery of all technical aspects of Left Field Labs’ project solutions. The role combines both deep technical expertise and the ability to handle high-touch and detail-oriented client interactions. 

The ideal candidate has the ability to tackle any facet of development required in the process of bringing experiences to life. A solid grasp of clean optimized code along with an intimate knowledge of how to get things done in Unity the correct way is required. Integrating external API’s, creating a consistent experience across multiple platforms and translating artistic and engineering challenges into an optimized shippable product is your daily task. Those with experience getting the most out of Unity on performance limited platforms such as mobile and VR are preferred.

What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of professional game or interactive software development experience
  • Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven background working directly with clients
  • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining medium or large scale public facing interactive experiences such as Mobile Applications ( iOS / Android ), AR/VR Experiences and/or Video Games
  • Understanding of the end to end process of shipping, maintaining and updating a consumer-facing application
  • Able to work within a coding standard & create clean efficient code that is easily understood by others
  • Expert level knowledge of Unity
  • Expert level knowledge of C# and object-oriented programming
  • Expert level knowledge of technical stacks for 3D graphics and real-time rendering
  • Understanding of 3D Math
  • Proficient in both debugging and profiling
  • Strong technical architecture & solution documentation skills
  • Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure, OpenStack, GCP
  • Experience working in development teams, managing code reviews, and branching and merging using Git version control system


  • Working knowledge of a secondary programming language such as Python or Javascript.
  • Able to lead Agile teams and processes
  • Past agency experience preferred
