Position Summary

We are currently seeking a full time Senior 3D Generalist to create models and textures for a variety of real-time experiences. You will be working with a team of designers, artists and engineers to help bring creative visions to life. From rapid prototyping and grey boxing to translating conceptual images into real environments and props, the job will require a varied approach that will change as projects evolve. At times this will require working with larger external art teams so communication skills are a must. This is a full-time position that has the benefit of working on both large projects many users will experience along with smaller cutting edge experiments that may only be used internally.


  • Create original quality 3D models and the necessary accompanying textures maps.
  • Modify external high poly assets to allow them to be suitable for use in real-time rendering.
  • Work with fellow artists, developers, designers, creatives and producers to estimate, plan and execute internal and external projects.
  • Provide artistic and technical feedback on delivered art before it enters the project.
  • Point out where knowledge of specific tools and workflows can improve efficiency and fidelity.
  • Assist in bringing assets into Unity scenes and organizing them in a consistent manner.
  • Jump into creation programs when needed to create content.
  • Patiently mentor artists and designers with information on best practices and top tricks of the trade.


  • 3+ Years experience in production environments.
  • Excellent cross-disciplinary communication skills.
  • Expert level proficiency with Maya and/or 3Ds max.
  • Expert level proficiency and understanding of sculpting, modeling and texturing.
  • Knowledge of art optimizations needed at all stages of production.
  • Understanding of what is required for getting the best visual fidelity on performance challenged platforms such as Mobile and VR.
  • Ability to integrate into existing workflows while providing important feedback on how and where processes can be improved and optimized.
  • Ability to lead, mentor and provide active feedback to internal artists along and with contractors and external client-side teams.
  • Basic understanding and experience using Source control ( such as Git ).


  • Experience with animations, characters and rigging.
  • Experience other related art tools such as ZBrush, Substance Designer, 3D Coat, Mudbox etc.
  • Ability to work with shader code.
  • Ability to work in Engine ( Unity or Unreal ).
  • Understanding of particle system creation.
  • Understanding of real-time rendering systems.
  • Knowledge of visual tool based material creation ( Unreal material editor, Unity shader graph etc.
